I would like to announce the charter of a new Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in our city, Lodge #97. The Fraternal Order of Police, El Paso Sherriffs Deputy's Association, Lodge #97. The El Paso Sherriffs Deputy's Association, Lodge #97 is a welcome addition to our FOP law enforcement community.

In November, myself, and our Vice President/State Trustee Ruben Duran assisted the Texas State FOP in chartering, and swearing in our new Lodge brothers and sisters forming Lodge #97. As President of Lodge #82, I pledge our support to this newly established organization.

I invite all the Deputy Sheriff's in the greater El Paso region to come join their Lodge. Their lodge is backed by the Texas State FOP as well as the National FOP. Their voice will not only be heard statewide, but Nationally. Come join the Fraternal Order of Police."
